A Trainer is a person who has experience being a facilitator and a coach and is ready to begin teaching others the method in a group setting – both in-person and online.
A trainer is taught to do assessments and to design programs for the getting started process, working towards independence and implementation across settings.

What is a Trainer?
Beyond the world of working with individual families or supporting teams around a specific Communicator, there is the world of teaching others about the method of facilitated communication. Through workshops, presentations and assessments, a Trainer helps the community to understand what facilitated communication is all about, how and why it works, who can benefit from its use, and how to get involved. Training is a truly dynamic process of teaching that seeks to give participants an experience of the method. Wellspring Guild promotes the partnership of both Communicators and Trainers in the teaching process.
What Does a Trainer Do?
A Trainer provides workshops to general audiences, one that is open to families, professionals and the community as a whole. A Trainer also provides workshops to specific groups that are interested in knowing how it might apply to a student, or a member of a group agency or workplace. A Trainer is prepared to offered services in person or on line. A Trainer also provides assessments to help determine the benefit for a particular individual. The Trainer experience builds from the skills of being a Coach.
