Pascal Cheng

Independent Communication Specialist

Pascal Cheng has a M. Ed. and C.A.S. in Special Education from the University of Vermont and has worked for over 30 years with children and adults with developmental disabilities in school and community settings.

He currently works as an independent communication consultant in the state of Vermont. He previously worked as the director of communication services for the Howard Center, a developmental disability services agency in Burlington, Vermont. In that role, he provided training and support for individuals with a variety of augmentative/alternative communication needs. He has extensive experience and expertise in facilitated communication (FC) and continues to provide coaching and training in FC on both a local and national level. He currently is on the board of Wellspring Guild and is also a member of the Vermont Communication Task Force, a statewide group that works to improve communication supports and services for individuals with developmental disabilities in the state of Vermont.
